GSE Prospects returns for the 2020-2021 season.
GSE Prospects is a program run by Golden State Elite Hockey aimed at 10U "A" players that have demonstrated significant potential as a hockey player.
GSE uses this program to develop future players for tier hockey. These players will meet a couple of times for off-ice and on-ice clinics with our GSE coaches. Players will receive a practice jersey. We are waiting to for guidance from the State and counties before we can announce clinic dates.
There is a lot of misinformation about tier hockey and a player's growth path, therefore we will be presenting information about higher levels of hockey to parents during the first practice session. Parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and talk to the GSE coaches and staff. At this presentation we will have scouts, former professional hockey players, and a former Juniors coach.
At the end of the series of practices, if the State and counties allow it, and for those who want to participate, we will form a Spring team to play in one or more challenging spring tournaments.
We follow the CDC guidelines and county restrictions. We were the first rink to have received county approval for clinics. Our three rinks follow the guidelines strictly.

That's fine, as long as your player is on the top team at your club.
There is no cost associated with this program. GSE covers all costs.
However, if your player goes to a tournament with us, then the tournament costs will need to be covered by the player.
No. These are clinics.
TBD - We are waiting on guidance from the State and counties.
No, but they are missed opportunities for advancement. We are aware that NORCAL schedules may conflict and we will attempt to minimize conflicts.
Again, this is a missed opportunity for player development, but there are no repercussions if a player declines.
No, although 75% of our players come from our clubs. GSE coaches typically coach at the A/B level, as well, prepare players for GSE.
