Tryouts have been postponed, again! Not to fear, we developed a plan to get players back to hockey.
The purpose of this program is to help get players ready for tryouts, improve players' skills and confidence, and help give players some sense of normal back.
The Preseason Development Program is a set of skill-based clinics for all travel players (space permitting) that will be provided at the rinks in Cupertino, San Francisco, and Vacaville. Depending on the venue and county restrictions, this program starts the week of August 17th.
Here is a video of what the clinics will look like: https://youtu.be/tIOdQ7zDHZc
These clinics will feature high intensity skill development, small area games, and, when allowed, 3-on-3 and full ice scrimmages amongst Cupertino, San Francisco, and Vacaville. All this will be achieved while maintaining strict CDC guidelines.
Players will be grouped by coaches into like skill groups.
Players will receive a jersey. There are no refunds for partial attendance.
This program was developed by Golden State Elite (GSE) Hockey working in conjunction with the Cupertino Cougars, San Francisco Sabercats, and the Vacaville Jets.
We follow the CDC guidelines and county restrictions. We were the first rink to have received county approval for clinics. Our three rinks follow the guidelines strictly.
Click on the venue that works for you to sign-up. At some point, you will be contacted by the venue to discuss the schedule, costs, and to setup payment. Again, each venue may have different opening dates based on the governmental restrictions.
